Information about surge voltage protection

The input of the frequency adapter (Input Frequency connection) is pro-
tected against surge voltages. In addition, the supply voltage to frequen-
cy generator is protected by a Polyswitch fuse against short circuit.
Operating information
Be sure to observe the following when using the frequency adapter:
Set the measuring range of the current/voltage converter before
starting a measurement!
NOTICE
Ensure that you connect frequency generators properly using
the supplied adapters following the data sheet. You can find
the pin assignment in the chapter "General Description".

"General Description".
NOTICE
Please ensure correct pin assignments, supply voltage and
avoid short-circuits!
