* The sensor IDs for the indicated ranges are detected automatically. If
the frequency adapter is to be connected to the meter via the Handme-
ter Analog port, no adjustments to the meter are required.
For other sensors with different sensor maximum values, chose
the next largest measurement range endpoint.
4.2

Initial commissioning of the frequency adapter

Install the USB driver for the frequency adapter and the configuration
program on the PC. Do not start the program yet.
The USB driver should then install automatically the first time the
frequency adapter is connected.
4.3

Connecting the frequency adapter

1 Connect the frequency adapter to the USB port on the PC. Wait until
the PC has detected the frequency adapter and initialized the USB
port.
2 Connect the power supply or alternatively a meter (for supplying pow-
er) to the frequency adapter.
