6.2 Mode 2:
This mode determines the lowest voltage which is connected to a component or a contact carrying
current.
Contact the component to be tested with the test tip (2) and briefly press the button (8). The currently
lowest voltage is always displayed and saved in the display. In order to reset the display and the saved
value for a new measurement, repress the button (8).
6.3 Mode 3:
This mode determines the highest voltage which is connected to a component or a contact carrying
current.
Contact the component to be tested with the test tip (2) and briefly press the button (8). The currently
highest voltage is always displayed and saved in the display. In order to reset the display and the
saved value for a new measurement, repress the button (8).
6.4 Mode 4:
This mode determines the current differential between the maximum and minimum value which
contacts with a component or on a contact carrying current. Contact the component to be tested with
the test tip (2), the currently connected voltage differential is displayed. With this function, the diode
rectifier of the charging system is reviewed, for example with a running motor. With a faulty rectifier,
its voltage differential is at 1 Volt or higher.
6.5 Mode 5:
This mode is used to determine the upper threshold value for the measurement of cycled voltages in
main mode. This threshold value can be set between 0.2 V and 50.0 V by pressing on the respective
button (8) in each case.
