The foot cover is referred to as the device in the following document. This
document provides important information on the indications for use,
and handling of the device. It is intended for a certified prosthetist and
the user of the device.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The device is a cosmetic cover intended to securely contain the intended
Össur prosthetic foot, providing an interface between the foot and a shoe
or the ground as part of a prosthetic system.
THIS KIT INCLUDES
• Foot cover
• Attachment plate
• Spectra sock (black)

Lower limb amputations.

INTENDED USE
User activity levels: Low-High.
Foot size: 22-30 cm (see sizing guide table).
For FSF: Foot size 22-26 cm.
aSSEMbLY
Inserting a prosthetic foot into the device:
• Remove the attachment plate from the device opening (Figure a1).
N.b. FSF footcover does not have an attachment plate.
• Place the Spectra sock over the prosthetic foot in one of the following
ways, depending on foot type (Figure a2):
– Form the sock in between the sandal toes.
– Form the sock stitching between the carbon blades.
– Place the sock over the foot.
N.b. When donning the Spectra sock, ensure the stitching in the toe
area is facing upwards.
• Using the Össur shoe horn as shown, insert the foot into the device
(Figure a3). Ensure the carbon fiber heel snaps in securely under the
heel clip in the posterior part of the device (Figure a4).
• Reattach the attachment plate to the opening of the device
(Figure a5). Start by engaging the posterior pins, progressing forward,
finally engaging the pins at the anterior part of the opening.
N.b. FST foot cover: ensure the arrow on the attachment plate is
pointing anteriorly.
Removing the device:
• Remove the attachment plate from the opening of the device
(Figure b1).
• Insert the Össur shoe horn under the carbon fiber heel at the
posterior end, and pry the foot out of the heel clip (Figure b2).
• Pull the foot out of the device (Figure b3).
