To trigger the sensor, move the test object through the fork opening.

The yellow detection LED will lit up if the object blocked the light beam. This is
similar for either light or dark switch setting.

Using a suitable screwdriver to adjust the light dark switch to toggle between light
switching (L) or dark switching (D).
In light switching mode: Q output is active when there is no object (light received
at receiver side). When the object blocked the light beam, the Q output will be
inactive

In dark switching mode: Q output is inactive when there is no object (light received
at receiver side). When the object blocked the light beam, the Q output will be
active
