Using a suitable screwdriver to adjust the sensitivity potentiometer to increase the
sensor sensitivity. This is only necessary for semi transparency object or when the
detection is not stable.
The Troubleshooting table indicates measures to be taken if the sensor stops working.
Table 4: Troubleshooting
LED indicator/fault pattern
Green LED does not light up
Object is in the path of the
beam, yellow LED does not
light up
The sensor must be disposed of according to the applicable country-specific regula‐
tions. Efforts should be made during the disposal process to recycle the constituent
materials (particularly precious metals).
Cause
No voltage or voltage below
the limit values
Voltage interruptions
Sensor is faulty
Possibly object is smaller than
MDO or over transparency.
Measures
Check the power supply,
check all electrical connec‐
tions (cables and plug connec‐
tions)
Ensure there is a stable power
supply without interruptions
If the power supply is OK,
replace the sensor
Check the object dimension
according to the MDO / Adjust
