H.R.C. FUNCTION
(heart rate control)
To use this function you have to have
both hands placed on the hand-grip
sensors, shown in Fig.3.
Press any key to call up the screen
display and when U1 is on the screen
with
User
flashing
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to select H.R.C
mode. This screen will show three
target pulse rate percentage values:
55%; 75% and 90%.
Next, press the START/ENTER key
and select your age (10 - 100). The
default value shown on the screen is
30.

When you have specified your age
press the START/ENTER key and the
screen will display the target heart rate
that the monitor has calculated based
on the 55% value. This calculation is
the result of:
The number 220 minus your age and
multiplied by the constant 0.55.
In the event that you exceed the target
heart rate value, the monitor will
automatically
reduce
level. If, on the other hand, you fail to
reach
the
target
automatically increase the exertion
settings.
Press the START/STOP key to start
the exercise.

PROGRAM FUNCTION

Press any key to call up the screen
display and when U1 is on the screen

UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to select Preset
(programs) mode. There are 8 preset
exertion level programs, shown on this
screen.
Once you have selected the desired
exercise
