may be a humming sound. This occurs for technical
reasons and does not indicate a fault in your cooker
or cookware.
The diameter of the base and the size of the hob
must correspond in size otherwise where the diame-
ter is small, the hob (magnetic field) may not react
to the pan base.
Liability exclusion
We expressly point out that we are not liable for
damage resulting from the following:
• inappropriate use
• unsuitable, improper or careless handling
• disregard of these instructions for use
• faulty repairs
• the use of spare parts that do not correspond
to the original ones.
This also applies to additional parts and accessories.
Insofar as there is no legal requirement we are
further only liable for damage resulting from
intentional or grossly negligent handling by
legal representatives of our company or their
vicarious agents.

Terms of Guarantee
We hereby guarantee our product to function
without fault for 5 years regarding material, manu-
facture and non-stick qualities. The guarantee
period begins on the date of purchase of the pro-
duct from a WMF retailer, recorded on the guaran-
tee voucher completed fully by the salesperson.
If faults in the product occur during the period
covered by the guarantee, we will exchange the
faulty frying pan for a new one free of charge. This
is the only claim covered by the guarantee. Further
claims are excluded from this guarantee. The guar-
antee voucher must be produced to make a claim.
Your statutory rights of guarantee will of course not
be affected by this clause. Within the guarantee
period you are entitled to your statutory rights of
guarantee on replacement, price reduction, cancel-
lation, and compensation according to §§ 437 ff
BGB as required by law.
The guarantee does not cover damage resulting
from the following:
• cuts and scratches of a purely optical nature
• overheating
• unsuitable and improper use
• faulty, unsuitable, improper or negligent handling
