If toxic gases as per EN 45544-2 are being measured, the step must not be set any
greater than 5 % of the occupational exposure limit. In this case, the threshold limit
as per EN 45544-2 is 0.3 % of the measuring range, which falls accordingly if
smaller steps are used.

Description
Select whether the transmitter is to be powered by the mod-
ule or an external power source. The External supply volt-
age type is only necessary for transmitters that have a
power consumption over 500 mA.
Description
Name of the target gas. Selection via dropdown list or text
input.
Measured gas wizard
A measured gas can be selected with the measured gas
wizard. The parameters are automatically assigned with the
default values of the measured gas depending on the mea-
sured gas. The default values can be changed after exiting
the measured gas wizard.
Short version of the measured gas name.
Measurement unit of the measured gas. Selection via drop-
down list or text input.
Threshold limit with step of the display. The step indicates
the minimum steps with which the reading changes. Selec-
tion via dropdown list.
Measurement range assistant
All parameters for configuring the measuring range can be
set with this wizard.
Configuration matching assistant
This wizard can be used to read out and adopt the parame-
ters of the relevant transmitter. This wizard can be called
only if a supported HART® transmitter is connected up.
Description
No alarm is triggered for this period after occurrence of an
alarm (if signal faults are not to result in an alarm) and the
alarm is not deleted after the alarm condition is no longer
present.
Adjustable range: 0 to 5 s; default setting: 1 s
