Do not open the shell of the circuit board (21).

Do not expose the shear to rain or humid environments. Keep in a dry place.

Do not hold the shear by its power cord (12).

Do not use any battery charger other than the one supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Failure to comply with this re-
quirement can seriously harm the tool and the user.

When not using the shear, turn off the battery (1) by means of the switch (11).
2.4
Maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments on the mechanical parts of the equipment, put on
heavy-duty work shoes, protective gloves and goggles.
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual

qualifications.
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a qualified mechanic.
•

Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, disconnect the tool from its power source.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
Only qualified mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance
•
is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be
activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA Authorised Service
Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
qualified mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:

work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.
3 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
3.1

The tool identification details are indicated on the CE sticker.
3.2
Product description
The battery-operated electronic shears (1) with a moving blade (17) in tempered steel, is intended to be used for pruning
of vineyards, orchards, olive groves, citrus groves and ornamental plants for street furniture.
Cutting force is provided by an ele31ctric motor powered by a portable battery pack (1) which, through a series of gears,
transmits motion to the cutting device (blades) (19).
The shear is equipped with a trigger (15) and a circuit board (21) to control functioning and to avoid accidental starts. The
functions can be seen and selected on a display (10) connected to the electronic control unit (21), inserted in the battery
pack (1).
3.2.1
Connection to the battery
The shear is connected to the battery (1) by means of the connector (6) of the cord (12).

Intended use
The tool has been created for cutting and pruning according to the above-described manners and limits.
