If there is no symbol of the crossed dustbin on the machine, it means that its Manufacturer is not in charge of its
disposal. In this case the regulations in force about the waste disposal are the valid ones.
In compliance with the 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE Directives about the reduction of dangerous substanc-
es in the production of electric and electronic equipment, as well as about the waste disposal, the following procedures
have to be carried out:
The symbol of the crossed dustbin on the equipment means that it has to be collected, at the end of
its working life, separately from the other waste. Therefore, the end-user will have to take it to a sepa-
rate collection area for electric and electro-technical waste or to give it back to the dealer when buying
a new product of equivalent kind, in ratio one to one. The adequate separate collection and the follow-
ing processing and eco-friendly disposal avoid negative effects on the health and the environment
and allow recycling the materials the products are made of. Any unauthorised disposal, personally
carried out by the end-user, would cause the application of sanctions, according to the local Laws.
