COLOCAÇÃO DO PORTA-CARRINHOS
• O porta-carrinhos encontra-se posicionado num
dos acondicionadores laterais com que se protege a
máquina quando é transportada.
• P ara colocar o porta-carrinhos (17) na máquina
alivie o parafuso que se encontra na parte traseira
da mesma. Coloque o porta-carrinhos e aperte,
novamente, o parafuso.
• U ma vez colocados os carrinhos coloque, por cima, a
tampa do porta-carrinhos (acessório l).
THREADING THE UPPER THREAD
CAUTION:
Before threading, turn power switch to (O ) " 0".
Raise the needle bar to its highest position. Follow
exactly the numbered threading sequence illustrated
below. If you skip a step or fail to properly engage the
thread in any of the thread guides, the machine will
not sew properly. (Fig 1-5)
Continue to draw the thread down and into the
needle bar thread guide. Insert the thread through
the eye of the needle from front to back. Leave about
10cm (4") of thread loose behind the needle. (Fig 6)
IMPORTANT:
To verify that the machine is threaded properly in the
tension discs, do this simple check:
1- With the presser foot raised, pull the thread
towards the back of the machine. You should detect
only a slight resistance and little or no deflection of
the needle.
2- Now lower the presser foot and again pu11
the thread towards the back of the machine. This
time you should detect a considerable amount of
resistance and much more deflection of the needle.
lf you do not detect the resistance you have miss-
threaded the machine and need to re-thread it.
ASSEMBLING THE SPOOL PIN
- T he spool pin is placed in one conditioner which
protects the appliance for transport.
- T o assemble the spool pin (17) in the sewing
machine, it is necessary to loose the screw placed in
the back side of the appliance. Insert the spool pin,
and tight it with the screw.
- O nce placed the bobbins, you can cover them with
the spool cap (accessory l).
ENfIAR A LINHA SUPERIOR
ATENÇÃO:
Antes de enfiar a linha, coloque o interruptor de
alimentação na posição (O) " 0".
Suba o mais possível a barra da agulha. Siga cada uma
das etapas da sequência do enfiamento da agulha
como ilustram as imagens. Se pular uma etapa ou
falhar na execução da sequência do enfiamento a
máquina não coserá corretamente. (Fig 1-5)
Siga colocando a linha para baixo, na direção da guia
da linha localizada no interior da barra da agulha.
Passe a linha através do buraco da agulha de frente
para trás. Deixe uns 10 cm de linha solta atrás da
agulha. (Fig 6)
IMPORTANTE
Para verificar se a máquina foi, corretamente,
enfiada nos discos de tensão, fazer esta simples
verificação:
1- Com o pé calcador levantado, puxe a linha para
a parte posterior da máquina. Deve sentir só uma
leve resistência e um pequeno, ou nenhum, desvio
da agulha.
2- Baixe o pé calcador e volte a puxar a linha para a
parte posterior da máquina. Desta vez, deve sentir-
se uma maior resistência e muito mais desvio da
agulha. Se não sentir a resistência o processo ficou
mal realizado e tem que voltar a enfiar a linha.
