To remove the colander and its contents from the pan,
unclip the handle and pan handle and place the pan
handle on the colander. First lift the colander's conical
end (with the arrow); then slide in the other end.
Using the bain-marie
•
The bain-marie can be used by itself with the pan handle or a rotation accessory (SRS) in the
8-in. (20-cm) pan.
1
Slide the smaller end of the bain-marie into the pan's
smaller notch. Then place the conical end (with the arrow)
of the bain-marie into the pan's other notch.
WARNING: To use the rotation feature, it is necessary
2
to secure the bain-marie by clipping the removable
pan handle above the bain-marie marked with an
arrow.
To lock the bain-marie during
3
cooking so that it doesn't move,
turn the safety latch toward
the pan.
5
Once cooking has ended, you can empty out the water in the
pan by holding the pan handle and turning the pan 90°.
WARNING: make sure you lock the bain-marie into place
before using.
Thanks to its built-in SRS technology (Secured Rotation
System), the bain-marie will remain horizontal. For a better grip,
add a handle to the other side of the pan.
6
To remove the bain-marie from the pan, unclip the handle and
pan handle and place the pan handle on the bain-marie.
WARNING: never use a handle to remove the bain-marie
from the 8-in. (20-cm) pan. Risk of burns.
First lift the conical end of the bain-marie (with the arrow); then
slide the other end.

To unlock, turn the
