- Lower the wheel lifter (pedal 29) and position
the wheel on it by hand (A).
- Lower the lifter (pedal 29) (B).
- Remove the wheel from the lifter.

"EXTRAORDINARY"
MOUNTING PROCEDURE
- A variation of the mounting procedure explai-
ned above may be adopted in case of rims
with very small or non-existent drop centre
(fig.11-B). In these exceptional cases, the
mounting procedure can be facilitated by
using a variant of the normal procedure.
- The first bead is mounted in the usual way. To
mount the second bead, position the movable
tool as when approaching for demounting (fig.
29
32).
- This reduces the stresses, leaving more space
for the tyre. The following operations, illu-

strated from fig. 28 on, remain unchanged.
