7.1 - DECOMMISSIONING AND SCRAPPING
Before carrying out any type operation, it is necessary to proceed with isolating the machine from the
hydraulic supply.
- Install the specific lifting hooks and chains where foreseen;
- Connect the chains to the lifting equipment;
- recover the hydraulic oil;
- Remove the piping connecting to the hydraulic system;
- remove the screws of the fastening flange;
- bring the motorised joint to the bench;
- remove the motor by unscrewing the fastening bolts;
- in case of REVOBLOCK 10 and 14, recover the bronze gear and dispose of it separately.
7.2 - SEPARATE COLLECTION OF MATERIALS
The materials listed below must be separated and stored in order to be recovered or disposed of according
to environmental standards.
Metal materials
- Couplings (cast iron);
- Worm screw (steel);
- Protection (steel);
- Nuts and bolts (steel);
- Gear (bronze) (REVOBLOCK 10-14 only)
- Hydraulic motor (steel).
OILS AND GREASES
- oil for the hydraulic system.
7.3 - SCRAPPING
All of the above mentioned materials must be scrapped according to current regu-
lation
in force in the Country at the time of Scrapping. In order to dispose of properly, use
specialised and authorised services for their collection and treatment and/or contact
competent authorities for location and procedures.
