6.4 Address for bus communication
The IO 111 can communicate with control systems
via a bus connection. In connection with bus
communication, the IO 111 is slave. As a control
system must be able to identify the slave units with
which it communicates, the IO 111 modules must
have unique addresses. Addresses between 40 and
46 are set by means of the switches 3, 4 and 5, see
table.
If the DIP switches are set to bus configuration, the
address of the IO 111 module is set from the control
system via bus. The address can be selected
between 32 and 231. As standard, the address is set
to 231.
