Be sure the CONTROLLER is properly configured for the desired application – see topic on "CONFIGURA-
TION OF THE CONTROL PARAMETERS". For the configuration, all the loads must be disconnected from the
generator's power output.
Before turning on the generator, you must choose between two operating modes: "MANUAL" or "AUTOMATIC".
"MANUAL" mode is used when you want to start the generator manually without using the "automatic transfer
switch" or ATS. "AUTOMATIC" mode is used in conjunction with the ATS (accessory sold separately). In the latter
case, the generator can start automatically when the energy from the power grid is turned off, transferring the
load to the generator.

TURNING ON THE EQUIPMENT
After a thorough check of the electrical connections, grounding, and configuration of the controller, the generator
can be started by pressing the "START" button. The controller can may make an alert sound and show a welcome
message on the screen (configurable).
If the "start-up password" has been configured, the following screen will appear asking for the code:
Enter the "password" using the navigation arrows and press the "MENU" button to confirm (see the parameter
adjustment instructions to configure or cancel the "password"). If the password is correct, the next screen will
appear, showing the status of the generator.

STARTING THE GENERATOR
To start the generator press the "START" button. The controller will begin the start-up process automatically,
detecting whether any error occurred during start-up:
