Overedge Stitch

Overedge stitch will be done most successfully
when the right side stitches of zigzag fall slightly
off the edge of the fabrics.

Place the fabric under the presser foot so that the
edge is just inside the right edge of the presser foot.
Guide the work so the right hand stitches fall off the
edge of the fabric.
