3.0 CONNECTION

3.1– DELIVERY OF THE MATERIAL
The TIG µP 353H DC is composed of:
1°) composition GEN TIG µP 353H + KIT SALES CODE 600960000L :
- N°1 generator code 600940000L
- N°1 instructions manual code 6903700030
- N°1 earth cable code 602000000L
- N°1 setting-up kit code 608020000L
Check that all the material listed above is included in the package. Inform your distributor if
anything is missing. Check that the generator has not been damaged in transport. If you see
any sign of damage, consult the COMPLAINTS section (Par. 3.2) for instructions. Before
working with the generator read this instructions manual carefully.

3.2- COMPLAINTS

Complaints for damage during transport: If your equipment is damaged during
transport, send a complaint in writing to the carrier.
Complaints for faulty goods: All the equipment shipped by STEL SRL has been
subjected to strict quality control. However, if your equipment does not work correctly, consult
the TROUBLESHOOTING section in this manual. If the fault persists, consult your authorised
dealer.
3.3- PRIMARY CONNECTION
INSTALLATION
WARNING: This Class A equipment is not intended for use in residential locations where
the electrical power is provided by the public low-voltage supply system. There may be
potential difficulties in ensuring electromagnetic compatibility in those locations, due to
conducted as well as radiated disturbances.
This equipment does not comply with IEC 61000-3-12. If it is connected to a public low
voltage system, it is the responsibility of the installer or user of the equipment to ensure, by
consultation with the distribution network operator if necessary, that the equipment may be
connected.
The good operation of the generator is ensured by correct installation; you must therefore
proceed as follows:
- Position the machine in such a way that there is no obstacle to the air circulation ensured by
the internal fan since the internal components require suitable cooling (see chap. 7.1 page 33) .
- Ensure that the fan does not send deposits or dust into the machine.
- Avoid impacts, rubbing, and - absolutely - exposure to dripping water, excessive heat
sources, or any abnormal situations.
MAINS VOLTAGE
The generator works at mains voltages differing by 20% from the rated mains value of 400V
(Minimum voltage 320V, maximum voltage 480V).
