Control Mode 4: VarioControl
Requires: 1 electrode or 1 linear transducer
Control with one electrode
With this control mode, the opening speed is determined by the level and speed of the muscle signal. The
closing speed depends on the reduction of muscle tension.
FlexiGrip becomes active when the maximum grip force is applied when moving an object within the hand.
Once the object has been repositioned, the SensorHand Speed reverts to the previous grip force.
Proportional. The speed and strength of the muscle tension determine the opening speed of

Proportional. The speed and amount of the muscle relaxation determine the closing speed of
Closing:
the hand. This also affects the level of the maximal grip force.
By very slow muscle relaxation to the electrode, the hand stops in an opened position.
Stopping:
Auto-Grasp grip force increase
Up to 130 N
