Install the unit as follows :
STEP 1
If you have bought a 123\FIAT-PLUS (the complete distributor) : go to STEP 2.
If you are converting your own existing mechanical distributor with a 123\FIAT: remove the distributor

from the engine. Remove the capacitor, the rotor & cap, the points, the cam-assembly, the centrifugal
weights and all internal and external screws or plastic-parts.
Put the two magnets supplied with the 123\FIAT over the two pins inside, and slide the 123\FIAT over
the distributor top. Carefully check that the magnets run free (not touching the electronic circuit) and
fasten the unit with the three hexagonal screws in the side of the 123\FIAT.
STEP 2
Open the hexagonal screw on the top, to select the proper advance-curve first. A tiny switch with 16
positions (see diagram) can be selected with a little screw-driver. Factory-setting is curve '0' , the most
common FIAT-curve. Curve '1' is identical however, with 'idle-control' as the only difference. This results
in a more stable idle at different loads.
The fact that, when the engine is running, the LED flashes in MODE '0' only, may come in handy : e.g.
turn the switch, until the LED comes on, and then turn clockwise until you arrive at the required curve.
STEP 3
Install the "123\FIAT", and connect the red wire to the +12 Volt from the
