15.2 COOLING SYSTEM
ANOMALY
The compressor will not start
The water is cold but the appliance is ope-rating
excessively or non-stop
The compressor works continuously, but the wa-
ter is not cold
COOLING SYSTEM
Too much noise coming from the appliance, but it
is working normally
Cold water comes out slowly or not at all
CARBONATING SYSTEM
The carbonated water is not very fizzy or not at
all
Only gas comes out of the carbonated water out-
let
Continuous dripping from the outlets
The still water comes out carbonated

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Power failure
• Thermostat on the off position, or set to the
mi-nimum
• Faulty thermostat
• The over-load protection of the compressor is
faulty
• The starting relay is faulty
• The starting capacitor is faulty
• The compressor is faulty
• Little ventilation
• The condenser is dirty or covered
• The thermostat is on maximum cold position
• The room temperature is higher than 32°C
• Gas leak from the cooling system
• The compressor is faulty
• The machine is not levelled
• A few pipes are touching some parts inside the
appliance, thus causing it to vibrate
• Low pressure of the inlet water
• Faulty solenoid valve
• Clogged water filter
• The temperature adjuster is faulty and causes
complete freezing of the ice compartment
• The pressure of the gas in the CO
set to less than 3 bars
• CO
cylinder empty
2
• The temperature of the outlet water is high
• Air bubbles inside the carbonator
• The level probes are dirty
• The pump turns continuously
• The pump turns continuously, inlet water is
present
• The pump is blocked or the pump-motor is not
working
• The level controller is faulty
• The pump safety device has intervened (no
water)
• Dirty solenoid valve
• There is a shortage of inlet water
INTERVENTION
• Check that there is voltage in the plug
• Adjust the thermostat position
• Replace the thermostat
• Replace it
• Replace it
• Replace it
• Replace it
• Place the appliance away from the wall
• Clean the condenser or free it of its obstacles
• Adjust it
• It is normal that the appliance works at a con-
tinuously high room temperature
• Contact a specialised technician (refrigera-
tionist)
• Replace the compressor
• Level the appliance using the adjustable feet
• Adjust the position of the pipes, making sure
they do not touch any other parts
• Take steps to increase the pressure (auto-
clave)
• Replace it
• Replace it
• Make the ice melt. Replace the temperature
adjuster
reducer is
• Increase up to 3.5 – 4 Bars
2
• Replace it
• Adjust the position of the thermostat to maxi-
mum
• Clean out the carbonator
• Control and replace
• No water is entering or the water filter is
blocked
• The pipe fitting into the carbonator is obstruct-
ed. Disassemble and clean
• Check it and replace it
• Check it and replace it
• Check that there is pressure in the network
disconnect and reconnect the machine from
the electrical network to re-set it
• Disassmeble the solenoid valve and clean it
• Disassemble and clean or replace
