Rollbar
[B] and seat belt
WARNING !
Risk of falling
Never use the device without the rollbar.
Do not operate the device with the rollbar
folded down.
Always wear a seat belt when the rollbar
is folded up.
The rollbar must always be locked in
a folded up, vertical position with the
bolts and safety splints designed for this
purpose, and secured.
Do not fasten the seat belt when the
rollbar is folded down.
In the case of damage or an accident,
have the rollbar and seat belt checked
in a specialist garage, and replace if
necessary. Do not undertake any repairs
on your own!
The device is equipped with a rollbar and seat belt.
Together, they represent optimal protection for the
driver.

Safety locking system
The safety locking system will only allow the engine
to start when
- the driver is sitting on the seat,
- the drive pedals are not being pressed (neutral
position),
- the parking brake is in the park position,
- the cutter deck has been switched off; i.e.: PTO
switch set to "O/Aus/Off" (PTO = Power-Take-Off).

The safety locking system automatically switches

Assembly
Note
To be able to move the device manually, the
gear release lever must be in the appropri-
ate position. Refer to the section "Operation
– Pushing the mower",
Setting up the rollbar
The rollbar is folded down for transport.
Remove the splint from the securing pins
Remove the securing pins
Fold out the rollbar fully
Insert the securing pins through the holes
Secure the bolts with the splints
Setting up the steering column
Release the clamping lever in an anti-clockwise
direction
.
Tip the steering column forwards into the required
position
.
Tighten the clamping lever in a clockwise direc-
tion
to lock the steering column in this position.
Installing the steering wheel
Remove cover cap [1] ([A] or [B] depending on
model) from the steering wheel.
Remove screw [2] and the washer [3].
Bring the wheels into a straight position.
Place the steering wheel on the steering shaft.
Put on washer [3] with curved side face up.
Fix the steering wheel using the screw [2].
Insert the cover cap [1] ([A] or [B] depending on
model).
