Intended Use

The machine is intended for cutting wood lengthways
and crossways in straight lines and at mitred angles of
up to 45° on a firm surface.
The user alone is responsible for any liabilities caused
by usage other than intended.

The machine must not be operated without the
appropriate safety devices.
Always use the riving knife.
The swinging protective guard must be able to
move freely and must not be jammed in the open
position.
Put the plug into the mains socket only when the
machine is switched off.
Wear safety glasses, hearing protectors and protec-
tive gloves.
The dust that is produced while working is detri-
mental to health. Use dust extraction and wear a
dust mask.
Do not work with materials containing asbestos.
Always hold the machine with both hands during
operation and make sure you have a firm foothold.
Always lay the cable away from the machine
towards the rear.
Clamp the work-piece if it cannot be secured by its
own weight.
Apply the machine to the material only after it has
been switched on.
The cutting path must be free of obstacles on the top
and the bottom.
Keep hands away from the rotating saw blade.
Be careful not to come in contact with the rotating
saw blade on the underside of the workpiece.
The saw blade should not protrude below the work-
piece more than 3 mm.
Do not cut into nails, screws, etc.
If the saw blade becomes jammed, switch off the
machine immediately.
Do not stop the saw blade after switching off with
side pressure.
Always remove the plug from the power supply
socket before carrying out any work on the
machine, when interrupting work and when not
using the machine.
Do not leave clamping tools inserted.
Do not carry the machine by the power cord.
Persons under 16 are not permitted to use the
appliance.
