F. JOYSTICK OR ENHANCED DISPLAY SWING-AWAY
RETRACTABLE MOUNT
The joystick or Enhanced Display is mounted with a mechanism which allows the control to
be locked in a forward or retracted position using magnets.
Adjustment
a. To retract the joystick or Enhanced Display, push outward on the inside of joystick.
b. Push the joystick or Enhanced Display away from front of armrest until it locks into
retracted position.
c. To return to forward position, push the joystick or Enhanced Display forward until it
locks into place.
G. ASAP SEATING ADJUSTMENT
Please refer to the ASAP Seating Adjustment Guide for details on how to adjust the seat
depth, seat width, armrest height, and backrest angle.
H. FLIP-BACK ARMRESTS ADJUSTMENT
1. Width Adjustment (Figure 14)
a. Insert armrest support inside of 1" square tube located on back of the seat.
b. Repeat for other side of seat.
c. Position armrest at appropriate width.
d. Tighten knob screws (A) on square tube.
2. Angle Adjustment (Figure 15)
a. Flip back armrest.
b. Adjust the angle of the armrest by turning the bolt (B) clockwise to reduce the angle
and counter clockwise to increase the angle.
c. Fully tighten the jam nut.
3. Height Adjustment (Figure 16)
a. Remove the knob screw (C).
b. Select the desired armrest height.
c. Reinsert the knob screw and tighten.
Avoid pinching fingers in the flip-back armrest.
I. BACKREST
Adjustment for the High Back Contour Seat (CB only)
(Figure 17)
a. Pull lever (D) upwards.
b. Lean back to desired position.
c. Release lever (D).
CAUTION– Backrest latches must be locked into place before operating wheelchair.
J. SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
(Figure 18)
1. Remove seat (See Section K. Seat Removal).
2. Remove pins from all four seat mount posts.
3. Select the desired seat height (rear seat mount should never be more than
one position lower than the front).
4. Reinsert the pins.
Ensure both front seat posts are positioned to the same height. Rear seat posts
should also be set to the same height.
