Risk caused by missing torque support in case of high torques!
When hand-held nutrunners are used for performing tightening operations with high torques, the
developing forces may cause injuries, especially to joints (see also the safety requirements to be met by
hand-held nutrunners according to DIN/ISO 11148).



Risk of injury!
Holding the hand-held nutrunner at places other than those provided for this purpose may cause
injuries if conditions are unfavorable. Such injuries include crushing, clipping, cutting, bumping.


Loss of IP 40 protection class!
If the interface cover is opened, the hand-held nutrunner can no longer be operated under protection
class IP 40.


The tightening channels, the tightening programs etc. can be configured or modified in the NEXO-OS
operating system.
A description of the NEXO-OS operating system is included in the project planning manual (to be opened
in the NEXO-OS).

Operation

Recommendation: Right-angle nutrunners require the installation and use of a torque support when
torques exceed 40 Nm.
Recommendation: Pistol grip nutrunners require the installation and use of a torque support when
torques exceed 10 Nm.
Also observe country-specific and/or company-specific regulations.
Only use the gripping areas intended for this purpose to hold the hand-held nutrunner!
To ensure stable tool quality, a machine capability test (MCT) should be carried out at regular
intervals.
The MCT should comply with VDE/VDI2645 Sheet 2.
Bosch Rexroth Service provides this service (see page 39).
Always keep the interface cover closed during operation!
