Notes:
- If the battery pack charging is full, don´t charge it more; overcharging will shorten the battery life or damage
it.
- When the battery pack charge is performed with the battery installed into the transceiver, ensure that the
transceiver is OFF.
- After purchasing the transceiver or extended storage (more than 2 months), the battery pack cannot reach its
maximum capacity for the first time recharging. After repeating the charging/discharging the battery pack two
or three times, the capacity of the battery pack will reach its best status.
- Once the battery pack is fully charge, remove the battery pack from the battery charger and unplug the
battery charger to the 230 VAC wall outlet.
- The disconnection device of the battery charger is the AC/DC adaptor or the plug of the desktop battery
charger.
4.2.- INSTALLING/REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK:
- To install the battery pack, put the top side of the battery pack to the back of the transceiver and
press the battery pack to the transceiver until the release latch on the bottom of the transceiver locks
(figure 1).
- To remove the battery pack, press the release latch and take the battery pack out from the
transceiver (figure 2).
4.3.- INSTALLING THE ANTENNA:
Srew the antenna into the connector on the top of the transceiver by
holding the antenna at its base and turn clockwise until secure (See
figure 3).
