Bevel adjustment
Various markings for angles between 0° and 45° are available for bevel adjustment.
- Separate the machine from the pneumatic supply
- Loosen the bevel lock item 10 (see fig. 5). Turn the base up to the required angle. Re-tighten
the bevel lock item 10.
Use of the sighting notch
- During freehand cutting adjust the cutting line on the work piece with the sighting notch item
11 (see fig. 6)
- Make the cut.
- Use the left hand sighting notch for straight cuts and the right hand sighting notch for 45°
cuts.
Bottom guard
The bottom blade guard item 12 is a safety device required for your protection.
Before each use make sure that:
- Any accumulated chips are removed,
- the bottom blade guard can be rotated freely,
- the bottom blade guard shuts quickly and completely.
