Getting started with Analysis Vibration Sensor System
Residual risks and safety measures
If installed and operated according to the instructions, the
Analysis Vibration Sensor System is safe. In the event of incorrect operation or use,
the following damage might occur:
y Personal injury
y Damage to the system components or to the assets
y Interrupted wireless communication (poor transmission and/or reception)
WARNING
Risk of injury from falling parts.
When installing a gateway at great height, there is a risk that the gateway or a
working tool might fall to the ground, causing injury.
Cordon off the area immediately below the installation site to prevent access
to the danger area.
Secure all working tools using holsters, clips, lanyards or other tethering
aids.
WARNING
Risk of injury from electric shock.
Although the gateway power supply may be PoE (Power over Ethernet) or a 24 V DC
input the neighbouring circuitry could be of a high voltage (220 V) and therefore
risky.
The electrical connection must be established by a qualified electrician.
The mains voltage must conform to the IEC guidelines.
Battery safety
