Make sure that the mounting base is seated properly on the measurement
location.
NOTE: Excessive mounting torque may damage the mounting adapter threads or the
machine housing. Too little torque may allow the mounting adapter to work loose
as proper coupling between the measurement location and the sensor may not be
achieved. Incorrect torque may cause measurement error.

Adhesive mounting

Use bonded mounting adapters to install the sensor on locations and machines
where screwing is not permissible.

Steps
NOTE: The machine must not be in operation during bonding or for 24 hours
thereafter; otherwise, the bond quality could be adversely affected by mechanical
vibration.
1. Select location to install the sensor.
Allow sufficient space (at least 40 mm / 1 37/64") between the selected location
and any corners or walls so that the adhesive can be applied easily using a
wooden spatula.
