This manual provides the necessary information for the installation, use and maintenance
of the Harken Analogue Button, hereinafter referred to as switch, button or device.
WARNING! Read the manual carefully before installing and using the device.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Harken analogue button is a device that allows the operator to electrically operate the
utilities connected to it, by means of a hand- or foot-operated button.
The device is made up of a fixed part called 'base', useful for mounting on the deck, and
of a tilting part called 'cover', useful for its foot drive; the electronic system is housed
below the entire device, protected by a silicone membrane that guarantees its isolation
from the external environment.
COMMANDS DESCRIPTION
Button pressed: utility activated.
Button released: utility disabled.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Before installing the device, visually inspect the packaging to check
it is intact; in the event of any damage or missing parts, please contact the
customer service department or the authorised Harken
WARNING! After removing the device from the packaging and before proceeding
with the installation, do not modify or delete portions of the components that are
an integral part of the entire product.
Any modification to the device or to any of its components may cause
malfunctions, equipment breakage, serious injury or even death.
Any modification to the device or to any of its components invalidates the
warranty of the device and the Harken
warranty at www.harken.com.
Improper use can cause extensive injury and damage to the equipment and the boat.
