Signaling) compliant, the display w ill
automatically reduce pow er consumption as

* When your computer enters " Active Off" Pow er M ode, the
picture disappears from the screen and " No Input Signal"
appears. After 5 seconds, the display enters pow er save mode.

Preset and user modes
When the display receives an input signal, it
automatically matches the signal to one of the
factory preset modes stored in the display's
memory to provide a high quality picture at the
center of the screen. (See appendix on pages 41
and 42 for a list of the factory preset modes.)
For input signals that do not match one of the
factory preset modes, the automatic picture
quality adjustment function of this display

automatically adjusts the picture position, phase,
indicator
and pitch to ensure that a clear picture appears

on the screen for any timing w ithin the display's

clock speed range.

Consequently, the first time the display receives
input signals that do not match one of the
factory preset modes, the display may take a
longer time than normal to display the picture on
the screen. This adjustment data is automatically
stored in memory so that next time, the display
w ill function in the same w ay as w hen the
display receives the signals that match one of the
factory preset modes.

In all modes mentioned previously, if the picture
is adjusted, the adjustment data is stored as a
user mode and automatically recalled w henever
