8.3 Adjusting the wheelchair
WARNING!
WHEELCHAIR ADJUSTMENTS – Adjustments are possible on the Atmos
wheelchair. Adjustment of the backrest, front and rear wheels and seat should
be performed with the supervision of a specialised operator, to ensure they are
entirely suited to the wheelchair user's needs.
N.B.
The product and optionals package does not include the tools and equipment needed for
adjustments and/or assembly of original optionals. Always use quality tools to avoid damaging
the structure and the materials.

position. If you want to take the camber to 0°, remove the plates (FIG.5-B). Reposition the
washers and the bushing on the frame, reinsert the pins in the wheels and into the holes on the
frame, ensuring that they are properly inserted.
WARNING!
Adjustment of the front wheels and brakes may also correspond with movement
of the rear wheels.

The height can be adjusted using the telescopic tubes on the backrest
itself. Remove the padded cover of the backrest and the elastic strap
protective cover. Loosen the elastic straps, remove the screws
attaching the telescopic tubes and adjust them to the desired height.
Tighten the screws and the elastic straps, then reposition the strap
protection cover and the soft padding on the backrest. (FIG.3)

The height, depth and inclination can be
adjusted. Remove the rear wheels by pressing
the quick-release button at the centre of the
wheels and removing the locking pins. (FIG.4)
Unscrew the wheel supports from the frame
and tighten them in the holes at the desired
height and/or depth (FIG.5-A). If you want
to keep the initial camber at 4°, check that
the adjustment plates remain in the initial

The height and inclination can be adjusted. To
adjust the height, use the holes on the front
forks, by loosening the screws and tightening
them again after repositioning the wheels at
the desired height (FIG.6).
