Cornering: To change the direction of travel, tilt the joystick to the left
or right. This is also possible with the joystick deflected forwards or
backwards, i.e. when driving forwards and backwards.
Warning! Use on slopes is only permitted when the
seat and backrest are in an upright position.
Warning! Always put the seat and backrest into an
upright position when you are driving the wheelchair.
4.4. Pushing mode
If you want to push the wheelchair in specific situations, you must
release the brakes. In freewheel mode, the wheelchair is easy to push.
Warning! The electromagnetic brake is then disabled.

The drives can be disconnected and engaged using the red and
black levers (Fig. 26).
•
To push the power wheelchair, pull the red lever upwards. The
switch will click into place automatically.

To engage the drives pull the black knob upwards, it will then click

into place automatically.

Please note that push mode by disconnecting the
electromagnetic brakes must only be used on
flat ground. The electromechanical brake is then
disabled. Non-observance means danger to life.
Warning! Always use both drives at the same
position (risk of accident).

4.5. Legrests
In order to make it as easy as possible to get on and off, you can flip
the footplates upwards or swing the legrests out or remove them by
lifting them upwards.
•
To swing the legrest out, release the catch (Fig. 27).
•
In the "out position" the legrest can be completely removed (Fig.
28).
•
With electrically-adjustable legrests, you must first disconnect the
connecting cable under the seat.
•
To fit the legrests, repeat the procedure in reverse order.
•
Swing the legrest back to the front until you hear it clearly click into
place.
