Safety Notes
• Analog 14 volts DC, digital 19 volts AC.
• Do not expose the model to direct sunlight, extreme changes
in temperature, or high humidity.
• The wire used for feeder connections to the track may be a
maximum of 2 meters / 78 inches long.
• WARNING! Sharp edges and points required for operation.

General Note to Avoid Electromagnetic Interference: A
permanent, flawless wheel-rail contact is required in order to
guarantee operation for which a model is designed. Do not make
any changes to current-conducting parts.

Functions
• Built-in electronic circuit for optional operation with a con-
ventional DC train controller (max. ±14 volts), mfx or digital
systems adhering to the NMRA standards (DCC).
• Automatic system recognition between digital and analog
operation.
• Automatic system detection between digital systems with
priority on mfx.
• Interior lighting 66611 can be installed in this car.
Installation only by the Märklin Repair Service.

Notes on operating under DCC
• Address set at the factory: 3
• For correct light changeover, we recommend setting the
function decoder for the car to the address of the locomoti-
veand adjusting the braking delay to the locomotive.
