HOW TO CHARGE THE BATTERY

Only use the battery charger (5) supplied with the appliance. Do not

charge the appliance if ambient temperature is lower than 10°C or higher

than 40°C.

The use of another battery charger voids the warranty.

a. Before using the appliance for the first time and when its charge level is low (one LED on), it

is necessary to proceed with its charge.

b. The charge operation can be carried out both with the appliance switched on (switch "14" to"I")

and off (switch"14" to "0").

c. Connect the battery charger (5) to the power socket (make sure the label data correspond to

those of the electric distribution network).

d. Insert the male connector (5b) into the socket (17).

e. With the switch (14) set to "I", the LEDs (18) switch on indicating the charge level of the battery

while the LED (5c) located on the battery charger (5) switches on in red when the battery is

charging and turns green when the battery is entirely charged.

With the switch (14) set to "0", only the LED (5c) located on the battery charger (5) works.
