OPERATION
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

1. Unpack the device and remove all packaging parts.
2. Clean all elements before using it for the first time (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
FREEZING THE CONTAINER
1. Place the container (5) in the freezer. At a temperature of -18° Celsius it takes at least 12 hours until
the container has cooled properly. At a higher temperature this takes longer. Preferably, leave the
container in the freezer overnight. If you always leave the container in the freezer you can make ice
cream whenever you want!
2. Remove the cooler container from the freezer immediately before making the ice cream.
MAKING ICE CREAM
1. Prepare the ingredients and mix them together according to the instructions of your own recipe or a
recipe in the recipe section of this manual.
2. With cooked ingredients, place the mixture in a pan of cold water to let them cool down.
3. Place the mixture in your refrigerator to let them cool down (further) before you place them in the
container.
4. Mount the mixing paddle (4) to the underside of the motor housing (2).
5. Take the container out of the freezer and place it in the housing (6).
6. Place the motor housing with the mixing paddle on the container so that the cams on the motor housing
align with the cutouts in the container. Turn slightly to lock it.
7. Fill the container with the mixture by pouring it through the filling opening (3).
Attention:
The capacity of the container is 1,5 liter, but do not fill to the rim. The mixing paddle needs space to mix
your ice cream mixture. Depending on the thickness of your mixture, ca. 1,2 liter should be fine.
8. Put the plug in the wall socket.
9. Turn the On/Off Switch (1) to the ON position.
10. Allow the appliance to run for about 20-40 minutes until the ice cream has reached the required
consistency.
11. Switch off the appliance, and remove the plug from the wall socket.
12. Enjoy your ice cream.
Attention:
Note that the ice cream is not as hard as store-bought ice cream which is deepfrozen for some time. For
harder ice cream, spoon the contents of the cooler container into an airtight freezer box and place it in
the freezer for a few hours until it has hardened. You can also place the ice cream in the cooler container,
covered, in the freezer for a short time, but not longer than 30 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean all elements after each use.
• Disconnect from mains power supply and let the appliance cool down.
• Clean all elements with a soft cloth or a dishwashing brush in warm water with washing-up liquid.
• Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning. Do not immerse water into the motor housing.
Attention:
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
when cleaning.
