Risk of collision.
8PSB can move sideways when elevated from ground.
Be sure to keep 8PSB still while hoisting.
Hoist 8PSB up to requested height by using the ceiling hoist's hand control.
For dismantling 8PSB follow the previous procedure in reverse order.
Operation
See encircled area below for user's head area.
Do not use damaged or badly worn slings.
Every sling loop must be in use and attached correctly to 8PSB while hoisting.
Keep hand control wire and emergency stop rod away from Balance bar housing.
Before hoisting the user
Place the user in the RgoSling Fabric Stretcher sling or RgoSling Repositioning sheet according to related
user manual.
Hoisting the user
Hoist the user in a still and smooth manner using the hand control to assess the horizontal position of
the user.
Under no circumstances should the user be angled with their head lower than their
shoulders.
Ensure most appropriate position for the user.
Keep 8PSB still at all times during transfer to avoid any unintended movement.
If horizontal adjustment is required lower the user back to the surface.
Do not attempt to adjust the tilt while the user is elevated.
Risk of pinching fingers when turning handwheel.
Keep fingers away from bottom side of balance bar housing.
