1. Set up the target plate at a distance of 5-150 m with the reflective stripes toward the laser.
Make sure that the bubble of the digital spirit level on the laser and the bubble of the spirit level on
the holder are exactly centered. This will prevent the center of the laser beam from deviating away
from the center of the target plate.
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Use the Up or Down arrow button to select the AUTO ALIGNMENT menu item and confirm your selection
by pressing the SET button.
▶ Automatic alignment starts. The laser beam searches for the target plate within its alignment range
(right / left). This operation can take up to 2 minutes to complete.
▶ Successful completion of the alignment operation is indicated by the word OK appearing on the
display.
▶ If alignment is not successful or if the operation is interrupted, the word RETRY appears on the
display. If this happens, check the alignment of the laser and the target plate and restart the operation.
4. To start automatic alignment with the remote control unit, press the button for automatic alignment
on the remote control unit.
6.7 Selecting the laser beam mode
1. Select BEAM SETTING from the menu.
2. Select MODE from the submenu.
3. Select the desired laser beam mode:
Steady beam
▶
Flashing beam
▶
Energy-saving mode
▶
4. To change the laser beam mode with the remote control unit, repeatedly press the laser beam mode
button .
▶ The laser beam repeatedly cycles through the sequence described in Step 3.

Digital spirit level
R-TILT DISP­1
• ON: When the product is switched on, the digital spirit level shows enlarged (default setting).
• OFF: When the product is switched on, the digital spirit level shows not enlarged.
R-TILT DISP­2
• ON: When the product is turned round its longitudinal axis, the digital spirit level shows enlarged (default
setting).
• OFF: When the product is turned round its longitudinal axis, the digital spirit level shows not enlarged.
Unit for inclination value
UNIT
• %: The unit for display of the value is percent (default setting).
• ‰: The unit for display of the value is per mille.
Safety
S CODE
• ON: Use a 4-digit security code that protects the laser against unauthorized operation.
• OFF: Deactivates the security code (default setting).
Select SECURITY and then select INPUT S CODE to enter a security code or CHANGE S CODE to change
the security code.
Select CHANGE NAME to change the name shown when the laser is switched on.
