Troubleshooting table
If the trouble you are experiencing is not listed in this table or you are unable to rectify the problem by
yourself, contact Hilti Service.
Trouble or fault
Laser beam not working.
The laser beam flashes.
Inclination adjustment not
working.
Beam position cannot be
adjusted.
Remote control unit not work-

Possible cause
Fault in the internal measuring sys-
tem.
The angle is not measured cor-
rectly.
The positioning of the laser is not
set correctly.
Excessive inclination of the laser
during the calibration check or
adjustment.
Fault in the internal memory
Possible cause
Battery charge state too low
The laser beam has been switched
off by means of the remote control
unit.
If the inclination warning appears
on the display, the laser was tilted
to an excessive angle of inclina-
tion.
The laser was bumped or is af-
fected by strong vibrations.
The laser is in locked mode.
The value set is outside the possi-
ble range.

▶ Switch the product off and then
