DANGER! Slowly exhaust the system to avoid uncontrolled movements of the
system components.
3. Protect the system against being restarted (accident prevention).
4. Allow the product and adjacent system parts to cool down (accident preven-
tion).
5. Wear protective clothing (accident prevention).
6. Loosen and remove all connections.
7. Remove the flow sensor from the pressure connection using an open-end
wrench (thread connection) or pull it straight out of the push-in fitting.
11 Disposal
Improper disposal of the product and packaging will lead to pollution of the envi-
ronment. Furthermore, the materials can no longer be recycled.
Dispose of the product and the packaging in accordance with the applicable
u
national regulations.
12 Troubleshooting
If you cannot remedy a malfunction, get in touch with our contact address (con-
tact data. See back cover.
12.1 Basic requirements
General requirements for repair
• Never dismantle or convert the product (accident prevention, material pro-
tection).
• Do not carry out any unauthorized repair attempts (accident prevention, ma-
terial protection).
Permissible spare parts and reconditioning kits
• Only use spare parts and reconditioning kits from the online catalog (accident
prevention, material protection).
12.2 Notes on safety
To eliminate risks during troubleshooting, observe the notes on safety. See
g 2. Safety.
12.3 Procedure
Step 1: Check the system
In case of malfunctions, first check the system or the system part where the
u
product is installed. Check the following items:
• Are all connections connected to the product?
• Does the operating voltage comply with the requirements? See
cal
data.
• Does the operating pressure comply with the requirements? See
nical
data.
• Does the temperature comply with the requirements? See
data.
Step 2: Check the product
1. Make sure the system or system part is not under pressure or voltage (acci-
dent prevention, material protection).
2. Check the product based on the fault patterns described below. See
g 12.4 Malfunction
types.
3. Perform troubleshooting using the information under "Remedy".
4. Put the system or system part and product back into operation.
If you are unable to eliminate the malfunction as described under "Remedy": Dis-
assemble the product and send to the specified address. See back cover.
