7. Accessing Easymode. Easymode is a screen configuration that enables you to save 6 quick
start buttons (n°40) which combine speed and cut thickness. To configure these buttons, press
the "advanced settings" button (n°33), followed by the "Easymode settings" button (n°42). All
you need to do then is to select a cut thickness and a speed for each of the 6 buttons (n°43) by
directly pressing the values you want to change. Exit the screen to confirm your selections.
If your slicer has the self VMS configuration, the touch screen consists of the following elements:
1. Cut thicknesses
2. Instructions for the consumer
3. To access the slicer settings, press and hold one of the cut thicknesses for 5 seconds. You will
then have access to two buttons (n°38 and n°39).
4. Running cleaning mode. Once this mode has been selected, you will be asked to enter code
0123 in order to unlock the cleaning mode start-up.
5. Cut thickness configuration. On this screen, you can set (n°44) a slice thickness for each of the
three buttons.
If your slicer has the pro VMP – VMA configuration, the capacitive interface screen comprises the
following items:
1. Choice of 4 cutting modes:
a. Cut whole loaf (fig.9, n°49),
b. Cut a number of slices (fig.9, n°50),
c. Cut half the loaf into slices (fig.9, n°51),
d. Cut loaf in half (fig.9, n°52),
2. Number of slices (triangle buttons A and C) (fig.9, n°53, 54),
3. Slice thickness (triangle buttons B and D) (fig.9, n°55, 56),
4. Settings (fig.9, n°57). This button accesses the slicer cleaning mode (fig.9, n°65). The cleaning
mode is started using the Start/Stop button (fig.9, n°60).
A long press (10 seconds) on the Settings (fig.9, n°57) and Start/Stop (fig.9, n°60) buttons
simultaneously enables the Technical Settings (fig.9, n°66) to be accessed. This menu is used
to access the following:
a. Change maximum slice thickness using triangle buttons B and D. The Start/Stop button
saves the change.
b. Reset blade maintenance countdown counter. A long press (5 seconds) on triangle
button B enables the base value on this countdown counter to be changed. The
Start/Stop button saves the change.
c. Change minimum slice thickness using triangle buttons B and D. The Start/Stop button
saves the change.
d. Changing software configuration settings (calculator settings) (fig.9, n°67). Buttons A
and C are used to select the number of the setting to be configured. Buttons B and D
are used to select the value to be assigned to this setting. The Start/Stop button saves
the change.
5. Choose cutting speed (fig.9, n°58).
6. Access Easymode (fig.9, n°59). Easymode is a screen configuration that enables you to save
4 quick start buttons (fig.9, n°61, 62, 63, 64) which combine speed and cut thickness. To
configure these buttons, a long press on your chosen triangle button will open the pre-setting
menu. The Start/Stop button saves the change.
7. Start and stop cutting using the Start/Stop button (fig.9, n°60).
If your slicer is fitted with a 3-button panel, it comprises the following items:
1. Thin slice button
2. Medium slice button
3. Thick slice button
