3 Use
The device is delivered with a factory calibration. However,
•
Alivion strongly recommends performing a 2-point calibration
before the first measurement in order to achieve the maximum
measurement accuracy.
The device must be calibrated regularly. Alivion recommends
•
performing a new calibration at the beginning of each
measurement day in order to guarantee maximum accuracy.
The device can be used for measurements within the
•
operational temperature range of 10–35 °C and delivers
accurate results using temperature correction algorithms.
While the device accounts for temperature variations, the
•
measurement is highly temperature sensitive. Please carefully
follow the instructions in chapter 3.4 to achieve maximum
accuracy.
3.1 Recharging the battery
Charge the device by connecting it to a wall socket using the provided
Alivion USB charger.
The device battery level is indicated with the corresponding icon in the
top right part of the screen.

The Li-ion polymer battery can be charged at any time.

Interrupting the charging process will not damage the battery.
Avoid keeping the battery at 100% all the time, as this may

cause accelerated aging. Therefore, it is recommended to
charge the battery if the charge level is 1 3 ⁄ or less.
