Maintenance and Cleaning
Once per week; more often in case of frequent usage:
• Keep the contacts in the slide-on shoe clean.
• Only dry-clean electrical contacts.
• Ensure that metal chips do not enter the battery-
charger housing.
When the battery charger's power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by Würth or by an authorized Würth
Service Agent, in order to avoid hazardous situations.
If the battery charger should fail, despite the care taken
in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should
be carried out by a Würth masterSERVICE.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the battery charger.

or requested from your next Würth branch office.
Guarantee
For this Würth battery charger, we provide a guaran-
tee in accordance with the legal/country-specific regu-
lations from the date of purchase (verified by invoice or
delivery document). Damage that has occurred will be
corrected by replacement or repair.
Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or
improper handling is excluded from the guarantee.
Claims can only be accepted if the battery charger is
sent undisassembled to a Würth branch office, your
Würth sales representative or an authorised customer
service agent for Würth compressed-air and power
tools.
Meaning
Charging not possible due to the following possible reasons:
– Contacts contaminated. Improvement measure: Clean the contacts by inserting
and removing the battery several times.
– The battery is defective. Improvement measure: Replace the battery!
The battery temperature is not within the charge-temperature range of 0 °C to
+45 °C. The rapid charging procedure starts as soon as the battery reaches the
allowable charging-temperature range.
Packaging, worn out battery chargers and accessories
should be sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
Dispose of batteries only when discharged.
For batteries that are not completely discharged, insu-
late the terminals with tape as a protective measure
against short-circuiting.
