The standard warranty period for bedsteads and accessories is 5 years.
Warranty for showroom models
We offer a two-year warranty on showroom models, starting from the
invoice date of the consumer.
Warranty terms and conditions
If there are material or manufacturing defects, the resulting defect will be
repaired according to the Auping warranty conditions or another suitable
remedy will be offered. If a defect is not repaired, the product may be
replaced, in accordance to the conditions, by the same product, or if that
can no longer be delivered, by an equivalent product, or a suitable
compensation can be offered. Only Auping will determine whether a
defect is remedied with a replacement, repair or compensation. In order
to claim the warranty, it is expressly required that the maintenance
advice of Auping was followed correctly and that there was normal
domestic use. Another condition is that the product is sold, delivered and
assembled by a recognized Auping dealer. Warranty claims for defects/
damage as a result of inappropriate handling (for example overloading),
wrong or improper use or because of normal wear, are excluded.
Combinations with non-Auping products may, depending on the nature of
the complaint, lead to a rejection or limitation of the warranty claim.
A warranty claim can only be made by submitting the original invoice,
that you should therefore keep safely. Only the original buyer may submit
a warranty claim. The claim must be made with the Auping dealer where
the product was originally bought, also if the buyer has since then moved
to another country. A warranty claim must first be assessed by Auping.
When a complaint is recognized as just, the defect product or defect parts
will be repaired or replaced (or another suitable remedy will be offered)
without any material costs, or against reduced costs in the event of a
warranty based on depreciation. Depending on the country in which a
warranty claim is made, the warranty does not automatically include a
compensation of the shipping costs of defect products to the Auping
factory or the Auping distributor to study the complaint or for repairs.
The same applies to return shipments of replaced or repaired products.
The repair itself is performed free of charge within the warranty period.
