EN. Auping warranty
The brand name Auping guarantees durability. Auping uses quality and
durable materials. Each product is manufactured with the utmost care
and inspected carefully before it leaves the factory. All Auping products
are covered by our standard warranty. This warranty is offered by the
recognized Auping dealer who sold the product in question; their name
and address are mentioned on the original invoice.
Warranty on bed bases
All spiral mesh bases and steel box spring frames have a 35 year warranty
on wire and frame breakage. A standard 5-year warranty applies to
motors, gas springs and electronic and plastic components , of which 2
years have complete coverage. In these 2 years you will receive in present
case a new product or its successor free of charge. In the 3rd, 4th and
5th year you will receive in present case a similar functioning product
free of charge; this may be a revised item.
The warranty on the spiral mesh bases only applies to normal use and
normal adjustment.
Normal use = base in level condition; sleeping, sitting, lying:
• maximum weight of 1 person 140 kg
Normal adjustment; normal use (10.000x adjustment lying down in bed
during the lifespan):
• maximum 95 kg for all 1-person products (all adjustable Auping spiral
mesh bases and box springs up and to 100 wide)
• maximum 170 kg for all 2-person products (all adjustable Auping spiral
mesh bases and box springs up and to 120 and 140 wide)
Warranty on mattresses & top mattresses
The total warranty period for mattresses is 5 years. A standard warranty
of 3 years applies to top mattresses.
Formation of depressions due to body pressure
Local loss of height (formation of depressions due to body pressure) of
1.5 cm is normal for mattresses and top mattresses up to 5 years of use
