When P1, P2 or P3 appears on the Multi-Print Display, it indicates that there is a sheet of misfed paper or
the Paper Cassette has run out of paper. Clear the paper misfeed by following the procedure given below.
Isolating the Misfeed Location
P1, P2 and P3 signify particular locations of misfeeds inside the machine.

NOTE
If a paper misfeed occurs during a multi-print cycle, clear all sheets of misfed paper.
A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between the Paper Cassette and U-Turn Guide,
or the Cassette has run out of paper.
A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between the U-Turn Guide and Fusing Unit.
A misfeed has occurred in the paper path between Fusing Unit and Print Tray.
