• Następnie należy wyjąć spalony bezpiecznik , włożyć nowy typu
F250mA/300V lub F10A/300V, zamknąć obudowę i z powrotem dokręcić ją
dwoma wkrętami.
KONSERWACJA MULTIMETRU
Okresowo należy przetrzeć obudowę i wyświetlacz czystą miękką suchą
szmatką.

DIGITAL MULTIMETER
READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE. THE MANUAL CONTAINS INFORMATION
AND INSTRUCTIONS, THE OBSERVANCE OF WHICH WILL ENSURE SAFE OPERATION OF
THE MULTIMETER BY THE USER.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 94W104 multimeter has been designed and constructed in accordance
with the European standard IEC-61010. It meets the requirements of Category III
(CAT III 300V), which means that it is intended for measurements in electrical
circuits directly connected via a plug to a low-voltage network (with an electrical
socket). It is an electrical protection class II instrument. It has overload protection
(250mA/300V and 10A/300V). It indicates the exceeding of the measuring range,
the polarity of the DC voltage and the discharged state of the battery supplying
the multimeter. Used for:
• measurements of the rms value of alternating voltage
• measurements of DC voltage values
• measurements of direct current values
• resistance measurements
• testing of semiconductor diodes
• battery testing

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To avoid electric shock and/or serious injury
observe the following instructions for working with the multimeter:
• Before using the multimeter, read the operating instructions carefully and
follow the instructions therein.
• Keep the multimeter out of the reach of children
• Before measurement, the multimeter should be checked for any damage that
could reduce the safety of use (damaged insulation, loose screws, etc.).
Particular attention should be paid to the insulation surrounding the plug
terminals. If any damage is detected it must be removed. Until they are
removed, the multimeter must be protected from use.
• Before measuring, the test leads should be checked for continuity and for
damaged insulation. If they are not 100% serviceable, replace them with new and
serviceable ones. Only use the factory wires dedicated to this multimeter for
measurements.
• If there is any doubt as to whether the multimeter is working properly, return
it to an authorised service centre for inspection and possible repair.
• Do not touch exposed conductive parts in the measuring circuit if the
measuring circuit is live. Note that capacitors may remain charged even after
the measuring circuit has been de-energised.
• Before measuring resistance or testing diodes, the measuring circuit must be
disconnected from the supply voltage and all capacitors discharged.
• Before measuring the current, the supply voltage in the circuit to be measured must
be switched off. After the measuring leads have been connected in series in
the current circuit, the supply voltage can be switched on again.
• Before measuring the voltage, ensure that the function/range switch is not set
to the current range.
• Disconnect the measuring leads from the measuring circuit before any change of
measuring range. Make sure you use the correct sockets, function and
measuring range before measuring again.
• Protect the multimeter from high and low temperatures, rain, humidity,
sunlight. The multimeter is for indoor use only.
• Do not use the multimeter in explosive atmospheres, dusty or foggy rooms,
etc.
• The principle of not exceeding the set measuring ranges by the measured
values must be observed.
• Special care should be taken when measuring voltages exceeding 40V DC
and 20Vrms AC. Such voltages can be dangerous to humans. Additional
protection in the form of work clothes, insulating shoes, insulating mats, etc.
should be provided for such measurements.
• For servicing and repair of the meter, use only original spare parts with the data
indicated by the manufacturer. Any repair work and/or calibration must only be
carried out by authorised service centres.
• To avoid false readings that can cause electric shock, replace the battery in
the multimeter as soon as it is indicated that it is dead.
• Do not use the meter and test leads supplied wi t h the meter to measure voltages
higher than 300V or currents higher than 10A (treating these as separate
measurements).
• The meter belongs to category III. It must not be used for measurements
defined for Category IV instruments.
• The multimeter should be calibrated once a year.
• If the device is used in a manner not specified in these instructions, the protection
provided by the device may be impaired
• The operator of the equipment should be trained before being allowed to carry
out measuring operations
• Never touch electrical components until you have ensured that the
installation is de-energised! It is recommended to check that there is no voltage,
then check the live point to verify that the meter readings are correct, and check
the installation again when disconnected from the power supply.
