1 Lautstärkeregler PGM für das Signal am Ein-
gang PGM INPUT (12)

leuchtet, wenn der Verstärker über-
steuert wird [Lautstärkeregler PGM
(1) oder LEVEL (16) zurückdrehen]
6 Ein-/Ausschalter POWER
Hinweis: Liegt eine 24-V-Spannung von einer
Notstromeinheit an den Anschlüssen BATTERY
(21) an, lässt sich der Verstärker nicht ausschal-
ten.
7 LED STANDBY: leuchtet, wenn der Verstärker
mit dem 230-V-Stromnetz verbunden ist, mit
dem Netzschalter (6) ausgeschaltet ist und keine
24-V-Spannung an den Anschlüssen BATTERY
(21) anliegt
8 Luftansaugöffnungen für den Lüfter

1.1 Front panel
1 Volume control PGM for the signal at the PGM
INPUT (12)
2 LED PRIORITY: will light up when the amplifier is
switched over to the PRIORITY INPUT (17) via
the terminal PRI CTL (15)
3 Power LED
4 LED SIGNAL: will light up when a certain volume
has been reached at the SPEAKER OUTPUTS

5 LEDs for fault indication
FAULT
will light up if a fault has occurred in
the amplifier
PROTECT will light up if the amplifier is over-
heated or a fault has occurred in the
amplifier
CLIP
will light up in case of overload of the
amplifier [turn back volume control

6 POWER switch
Note: If a 24 V voltage from an emergency power
supply unit is applied to the terminals BATTERY
(21), it will not be possible to switch off the ampli-
fier.
7 LED STANDBY: will light up if the amplifier is
connected to the 230 V mains supply, if it is
switched off with the POWER switch (6) and
no 24 V voltage is applied to the terminals
BATTERY (21)

Note: To facilitate handling when screwing on the
connection cables, all green terminal strips can be
disconnected from their plug-in connections.

Hinweis: Alle grünen Anschlussleisten lassen sich
zu besseren Handhabung beim Festschrauben der
Anschlussleitungen von ihren Steckverbindungen
abziehen.
9 Lautsprecheranschlüsse
Wichtig! Ab Werk ist der Verstärker so einge-
stellt, dass für 100-V-Lautsprecher die Klem-
men COM und 3 verwendet werden müssen.
10 Die Relaiskontakte schalten um, wenn der Ver-
stärker über den Anschluss PRI CTL (15) auf
den Eingang PRIORITY INPUT (17) umgeschal-
tet wird
11 alternativer Eingang SLAVE INPUT zum An -
schluss an eine 100-V-Lautsprecherleitung
12 symmetrischer Line-Signaleingang PGM INPUT
für normale Durchsagen und Hintergrundmusik;
Empfindlichkeit für Vollaussteuerung 0,775 V
(0 dBu)
13 DIP-Schalter
Nr. 1 zum Ein- und Ausschalten des 400-Hz-
Hochpasses (senkt zur besseren Sprach-
verständlichkeit die Bässe ab)
Nr. 2 untere Position ON (Werkseinstellung),
wenn das Fehler überwachungsmodul PA-
6FD (Zubehör) nicht eingebaut ist
obere Position OFF, wenn das Modul ein-
gebaut ist
Nr. 3 zum Ein- und Ausschalten des 20-kHz-
Testtons, wenn das Modul PA-6FD einge-
baut ist - siehe Kap. 4.1.1, Bedienschritt 6
14 Kontroll-LED: leuchtet, wenn der Verstärker ord-
nungsgemäß arbeitet
15 Anschluss OUT für den 24-V-Ausgang (Span-
nung liegt bei eingeschaltetem Verstärker immer
an; belastbar mit 0,5 A) und
Anschluss PRI CTL für einen Vorrangschalter:
bei geschlossenem Vorrangschalter schaltet der

Important! Due to the factory settings of the
amplifier, the terminals COM and 3 must be
used for 100 V speakers.

No. 1 to activate/deactivate the 400 Hz high-
pass filter (will attenuate the bass frequen-
cies to improve the speech intelligibility)
No. 2 lower position ON (factory setting) if the
fault detection module PA-6FD (acces-
sory) is not installed
upper position OFF if the module is installed
No. 3 to activate/deactivate the 20 kHz test tone
if the module PA-6FD is installed - see
chapter 4.1.1, step 6
14 Indicating LED; will light up when the amplifier
operates correctly
15 Terminal OUT for the 24 V output (voltage is
always applied when the amplifier is switched
on; current rating 0.5 A) and
terminal PRI CTL for a priority switch: if the pri -
ority switch is closed, the amplifier will switch
