The un-tensioned position is the position in which the lever with the spring positioner is in the vertical position.
To change position, it is simply necessary to activate the lever.
Cutting conditions
The factors described below can significantly alter the quality of the cut.
Product capacity
For optimal trimming, it is recommended to load the barrel between 40% - 60% of its capacity, as shown in the ima-
ge below. An insufficient amount of product can cause a high deterioration of the flowers and an inhomogeneous
cut.
Operation time
It is very important that the product to be treated remains inside the barrel for the necessary time to achieve a
homogeneous cut, because otherwise, it will cause further deterioration. As a general recommendation, the flowers
should remain in the barrel for between 8 and 14 minutes in operation to obtain the desired cut. It should be taken
into account that the operation time will depend on the variety, the size and the % moisture present in the dried
flowers.
IMPORTANT!
If the moisture level of the flowers is lower or higher than recommended, more or less processing
time may be required. Master Products recommends working with dried flowers where the
moisture level is 8-10%.
